Weathering the Day

I typically paint abstract impressionism. Still life is not usually a subject matter. I got a whim to paint some vases with florals—another vase to come in the near future. 
I named this one, "Weathering the Day" because it is wet and dreary outside, but the sunlight from the floral arrangement is enough to warm the heart.
